Finally I have the free time to do this photo shoot but there’s no idea or inspiration for me to carry out this photo shoot. I got this idea from a friend of mine, we were having our tea session one night, I asked him does he have any idea about the photo shoot theme and where to shoot it, he answered me here. The place we’re having our tea session is just a street full of old hawker stalls, but when i actually look around, I realized that,it’s not just a row of old stalls,but a row of stalls that have the feel of retro and “real” feel of Ipoh. I start imagining the afternoon scenes of this place it could be a stunning and suitable place to carry out this photo shoot.

So I decided to carry the photoshoot here “Ipoh Tong Sui Gai”, for the model of the day is not other than Bee Theng, an active that can give us endless pose without us worrying that she will be struggling what to pose and how to pose. For the make up artist and stylish will be her sister with her unique fashion sense, we have no worries about the clothes and make up will not be suitable for the photo shoot theme.

Because of the sunlight we need to accommodate with, we need to do an indoor photo shoot first only we can proceed to the outdoor photo shooting. Other than “Tong Shui Gai” I also did the photo shoot in an empty bus that we found it in Medan Kidd and surprisingly the effect of the photo came out with an astonish beauty. Through out this photo shoot, i have find fulfillment for myself after completing this task,that i have always wanted to do, and also this collection of photos shows a different feeling comparing with the previous photo shoot that I have done.

虽然已过了一年多，但还记忆犹新。我还记得当时为了拍冬天，我多买一个相机两棵镜头还有几粒相机电池（因为天气太冷电池容易故障）。我还记得当时是冬天零下8～12度。。还记得我们的司机和导游（韩国人）对话当中总会一直听到“yeah yeah”还记得新郎说明天拍照大家早点睡，但到了晚上他却拿一支goldlabel来我们的房间 ～哈哈～最重要的是我还记得我们安排好要去的景点全都有去到。。遗憾的是有一个景点mount sorak我们到了却拍不多。。因为风太大了。。大得好像要把人吹走。。我知道Jimmy & Bee Ann 已作出最大的勇敢和努力了，尤其是新娘Bee Ann。。因为她只穿着一套露出肩膀的礼服。。。

本来已和Jimmy & Bee Ann 安排好了在柬埔寨作为拍摄地点。。后来因为新郎jimmy怕热所以才把拍摄地点换去韩国的冬天。。第一站我们就在nami Island 拍摄，在我们刚到达nami Island 的入口不久状况就出现了。。可能我们太小看这冬天了。。因为 Bee Ann只穿凉爽的高跟鞋关系， Bee Ann的脚已抵挡不了这零下8度的风霜了。。新娘的脚不但麻痹，而且还会痛，连站也不行。。后来唯有买一双袜子穿上再喝热咖啡感觉才好一些。。那时我们用了差不多一小时来取暖。。时间已不多我们在入口不久的草地拍了一下就连忙跑进去nami最有名的景点。。那就是电影winter sonata男女主角站在两排树的中间的景点。。要到那里是一段很长的路。。可能路本来不长。。但在冬天再加上差不多20kg的相机背包，总觉路途非常漫长。

终于到了winter sonata景点的附近，但是新娘的体温又被冷却了。。我们在那边停下吃烤番薯和走近暖炉取暖。。时间一分一秒的过。。可能表面的我是很镇定的，但其实我心里是非常着急的。。因为太阳是不会等人的。。可能Jimmy & Bee Ann 也明白这点，但没办法的是这韩国的冬天实在是太冷了。。所以我也明白这也没办法的，唯有等到Jimmy & Bee Ann 可以拍的时候就用尽我所有的能力在很短的时间拍很多很好照片。。等到终于可以拍的时候天色已开始昏暗了，不过可幸的是。。平时应该很多人都会在这winter sonata的景点拍照。。但到了我们拍的时候已经没什么人了。。过了一会儿就只剩下我们在拍了。。新娘每拍几分钟就要把外套穿回休闲一下。。这是非常容易理解的因为当时已经是零下10～12度了。。我已经有了心理准备而且很快就习惯这种拍一下停一下的拍摄节奏了。。哈哈～总算把当天的安排好的拍摄完美结束。。。

We have never met the bride Ami before,we only contact with each other through sms and email. With the map given by Ami, we finally reached the loyal city.

We realized that her house is nearby one of Malaysia’s most beautiful mosques, Masjid Ubudiah. The distance from the mosque to Ami’s house is only around 10 minutes, so we decided to use this opportunity to take some shots in front of this heritage and majestic building.

Ami’s house is full of traditional Malay style, the nice environment of her house inspired me with some ideas on the shooting. Besides that, her family and siblings were so friendly helpful

Akad Nikah is a formal contract of marriage or also commonly known as the marriage solemnization or wedding vows.

Majlis Merenjis
Budz & Ami held their wedding reception at Dewan Perdana Felda. We’re glad to be their cinematographers again at their Merenjis ceremony.Everything ran so smooth on that day. That ends our shooting journey in KL. We will continuing our next journey back to Ipoh after that ….. Home sweet home.

But now I should say : “Phoebe, 你终于嫁得出啦！(finally you got married!)” I’m very glad for her that she found her Mr.Right that she has been waited for so long. Congrats Phoebe! We’re happy for you.

Phoebe, she’s my ex-colleague. Our team have been assigned as her guest cum cinematographers on her wedding day… a very special post. XD

Her wedding was just like a gathering for me to catch up with some old friends and in the same time we did enjoyed our work there. Thanks for the invitation!

Due to the reason some guests have arrived, we only did the shooting at the staircase and corridor of the club. But since the environment is very nice and attractive for me, limited space and time didnt affect me on the shooting.
